What is FibroTouch?
FibroTouch is a non-invasive device that provides the simultaneous assessment for liver fibrosis and steatosis via the transient elastography (TE) technique. In recent years, TE has been widely adopted and highly recommended for clinical use by numerous international guidelines. Essentially, FibroTouch is useful for patients with liver diseases in detecting advanced liver diseases, monitoring the disease progression or therapeutic response, and facilitating the treatment decision.
Early diagnosis and treatment of liver fibrosis can prevent chronic liver diseases from deteriorating into liver cirrhosis, liver cancer and liver failure. Now this Fibrotouch test is also under the panel of NASH for prevention of NAFLD
It is a very cost effective solution, look at more information below and contact us for Best Price !!
Transient Elastography
FibroTouch devices use controlled low-frequency shear wave to vibrate the liver and track the shear wave propagation through the liver tissue by high-frequency signal. By measuring the propagation speed of shear wave, liver stiffness parameter can be derived by specific scientific algorithms, which is used to assess the degree of liver fibrosis by our FibroTouch Machine. Meanwhile, it tracks the energy attenuation of ultrasound signal during the propagation process and obtain the quantitative result of Ultrasound Attenuation Parameter (UAP) quickly, which is used to assess the degree of liver steatosis.
Instant and accurate results
The report contains instant and accurate results.
The report contains averaged over 10 measurements parametric values of the elasticity of the studied liver area in kPa, an assessment of the ultrasound attenuation in the tissues and the success rate of the study, as well as an interpretation of the obtained values according to the METAVIR liver fibrosis stage assessment scale, which the attending physician can use when making a diagnosis.
How IT Works
See the video, how Fibrotouch works.
The advantage of using the Fibrotouch device is that it can simultaneously diagnose liver fibrosis and fatty hepatosis using one specialized sensor for all types of patients – children, men and women with standard equipment and obese patients with obesity.
